Iran-Georgia-Judo Secretary of National Teams Organization of Iran's Judo Federation here Sunday said the IJF would dispatch the national side to Georgia and Germany to participate in international events.

Gholam-Hossein Elmi talking to IRNA added the two tournaments would help the team fully prepare for the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, capital of Qatar.

According to the official, the Iranian judokas are scheduled to leave for Georgia on Feb 1 and to head for Germany on March 1.

He said the team is training under two South Korean coaches and Iranian trainers.

"Iran will most likely take part in the world competitions in France in September 2006," Elmi added.
